As of December 14, 2025, The Christopher Adlington and Nathaniel Reid LaMar Community Garden is officially a member of the Brooklyn Queens Land Trust (BQLT) and is protected from real estate development in perpetuity.

There are two ways to donate:

1) Direct Support
As a volunteer-run garden, we also welcome direct contributions, and 100% of these gifts go straight to tending The Secret Garden. Use the button above or scan the QR code on our gate to donate directly.

2) Donate through BQLT
For contributions of $1,000 or more, BQLT will serve as fiscal sponsor, making your gift tax-deductible. Please note in your donation that it is designated for “The Christopher Adlington and Nathaniel Reid LaMar Community Garden”
